Ammonite, approx. 8" diameter, cleoniceras, Cretaceous, Madagascar.
This polished ammonite shows the beautiful suture pattern that this extinct marine species is known for. One side was carved into a "bowl" showing off the inner suture/chamber patterns. Some minor areas of red flash are present in areas.
